182) The Inbetweeners Movie (2011)
Four socially troubled 18-year-olds from the south of England go on holiday to Malia.
7/10 – Not as good as the TV Show, but then it’s harder to keep it that level for entire film. It’s completely different. I put off watching this for so long because the ‘lads’ holiday to Gumbet I had was still fresh in my mind. That’s the beauty of The Inbetweeners, as tragic as it is, there’s a little bit of them in all of us.
183) The Inbetweeners 2 (2014)
Jay, Neil, Simon, and Will reunite in Australia for a holiday.
7/10 – Very different to the first one, more gross out comedy, less like the TV show, a lot more exposure to the actual characters and the friendships between them rather than the facade they put up in front of each other.
Both worth watching, both highly relatable, both had their moments. I think they’ve taken it as far as it will go now. They’ll probably make a third where one of them has a stag do though…
