Snowpiercer (2013)

79) Snowpiercer (2013)

In a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.

9/10 – From the excellent directive mind of Joon-ho Bong (The Host, Mother, Memories of Murder), we get a captivating, violent and exciting film that while it has its flaws, is ultimately an incredible piece of film.

Great cast with standout performances from Tilda Swinton and Chris Evans, a compelling narrative with enough of the bizarre surrealism, knife fights and bleak hopelessness you would come to expect in this English Language, South Korean directed, futuristic Sci-fi thriller.

Sit back. Enjoy the ride. It’s fantastic.
